Our society is a support group for people who have sustained brain injuries and their families. It concerns those who have suffered head injuries caused by traffic accidents, falls encephalitis, brain tumors or hemorrhage, and are severely handicapped in midlife together with the members of their families who care for them. Our head office is located at Sansei-en 4F 1-1-14  Ayame-ike Minami Nara Prefecture. This association was originally founded by Dr.Kenichiro Yamaguchi, a well-known brain surgeon, as natural outgrowth of his efforts to expand opportunities for the rehabilitation of patient who remain severely handicapped after the end of normal hospital care. Established on September 9, 1995, we presently represent 200 families mainly in the Kansai area, along with 100 other affiliated members.

Our Kyoto Branch was established in March 2004. Currently, we have 30-40 members and various activities are in progress.
